The Central Library of our College is located in the first floor of the Dharmamurthi Block with floor area of around 360 sq. metres. It has a Reading Room, Reprographic section, Computer centre in addition to Library stack room. Our Central Library has a collection of around 51912 books, 61 journals and 885 CD’s & DVD’s which cater to the needs of both Day and Evening College students and staff. A spacious
Reading Room and an annex accommodate about 200 students.
College has a Spacious Auditorium with sheet roofing and false ceiling with the seating capacity of thousand students with green room and VIP room. This Auditorium is very useful to conduct various meetings and University Examinations. The spacious auditorium is named Cunnan Auditorium after our benevolent founder.
Conference Halls (Air Conditioned)
There are two Air Conditioned Conference halls with a seating capacity of 150 each to conduct programmes such as seminars, guest lectures, meetings etc.
Generator (Power backup)
A 82.5 KVA generator caters to the electricity needs of the entire college in case of power failure.
Girl’s Waiting Lounge
There is a Waiting Lounge for Women student in the campus with all amenities to accommodate the women students during their leisure hours.
Boy’s Waiting Lounge
There is a Boy’s Waiting Lounge near canteen to facilitate for Men Students to relax/read.
Vehicle parking shed
Our College has vehicle parking sheds for two wheelers and cars separately for students and staff.
The parking sheds are provided with a watchman to ensure the safety of the vehicles parked.
Our College has a canteen located adjacent to the main building. It has a separate Dining – Hall for boys and girls. Snacks, refreshments and meals are provided at nominal rates for the students and staff of our College. As most of the students and staff are coming from far off places by train and bus the canteen caters to their lunch and refreshments.
Our College has a temple with idols of Sri Siddhi Vinayakar, Sri Maha Lakshmi, Sri Saraswathi and Sri Andal. Daily Poojas are performed by purohits. “Thiruppalli Ezhuchi” Poojas are performed every year during the Tamil Month of Margazhi with special lectures on ‘Thiruppavai and Thiruvempavai’. Special poojas are performed on festival days such as Vinayaka Chathurthi, Ayudha Pooja, Deepavali and Pongal.
Our college in arrangement with Aavin has started a ‘Parlour’ to provide quality milk and milk products including ice cream for the benefit of students.
